It’s no surprise that the Unions of the US have taken on the idea of employers asking for worker honesty. Many businesses are beginning to install biometric palm or fingerprint readers as a way for their workers to clock in and out It appears that Unions are against keeping workers honest.

“The bottom line is that these palm scanners are designed to exercise more control over the workforce,” said Claude Fort, president of Local 375. “They aren’t there for security purposes. It has nothing to do with productivity. … It is about control, and that is what makes us nervous.”

Did I read that correct? The unions are nervous and complaining that employers have the nerve to expect a little control over their workforce? I imagine Claude Fort is of the belief that he deserves 30 minutes of time off to stand around the back door and smoke cigarettes and expect his employer to pay him for it. American workers are so spoiled that they believe it is their right to falsify their time cards and be able to come and go from their job without their employers consent. Where are the rights of Employers to see that their investment in an employee is money well spent. Employers, you know, the ones who pay their employees for an honest days work. Isn’t it within their right to install a device that shows the actual hours work as opposed to having a bunch of asshole union workers having their buddies clock them in

Another benefit of the system is curtailing fraud. Several times each year, New York City’s Department of Investigation charges city employees with taking unauthorized time off and falsifying time-cards to make it looked as though they worked.

Of course, this is a workers right Unions typically fight for, that is, the right to screw their employers.

Don’t start on the right to privacy bull shit. I use a fingerprint reader everyday and I have no reason to suspect that my fingerprint is used for anything other than the purpose it was explicitly designed. Anyone who believes that these devices are somehow connected to a government network to track people have watched way too many episodes of the X-Files.

If you’re nervous about the government tracking, take up a real cause like DNA databases and tracking. I know it’s real because I saw it on the X Files.

We always knew that Camp Clinton takes things a little more lightly than us folks who believe that there are reasons for rules.  Bill said a weenie washing isn’t really considered sex.  Penetration apparently isn’t really penetration.  Hillary wants to count the votes from Florida and Michigan even though the DNC warned those states they would be punished if they moved their state primaries.   Now we get just a little more insight on the way this crazy woman thinks about the obligations of super and pledged delegates.

FROM CNN: Clinton’s remarks echoed her Monday comments to the editorial board of the Philadelphia Daily News.

“And also remember that pledged delegates in most states are not pledged,” she said Monday. “You know there is no requirement that anybody vote for anybody. They’re just like superdelegates.”

Clinton advisers have cited the altered rule, which dates to 1982 and says only that pledged delegates “shall in all good conscience reflect the sentiments of those who elected them.”

If pledged delegates aren’t pledged delegates, then why are they called pledged delegates.  I know that leaves things open for pledged delegates to a change of mind and she’s correct, there is no requirement that they do any thing.  The DNC just asks that they act in good conscience.  It is understandable that Hillary not consider “good conscience” as a component in the decision making process since she has none.

RE: dodging bullits in Tuzla 

We know dodging bullits is a Clinton MO, but Hillary dodging flower petals thrown from a little girl doesn’t count.  She covers her ass with this: “I say a lot of things — millions of words a day — so if I misspoke, that was just a misstatement,”.  That in itself is a misstatement.  Millions of words, really!   Oh Lordy, like thousands of others before her, Hillary is becoming a victim of her own mouth.   She’s starting to sound like Bill.  You remember this doozie: “It depends on what your definition of ”is” is?  WTF, I’m still trying to figure that one out.

Florida fucks up another election, and they were barred from participating in the primaries for , you guessed it, fucking up. Hillary wants the votes counted there and in Michigan even though the competition wasn’t on the ballot. Hmmmmm, that’s one way to pull a win out of your ass.

Joe Liberman whispering sweet nothings and correcting McCain on a little Foreign Policy. Very Vice Presidential. Yeah, 4 more years of this indepth foreign policy is just what we need.

4000 of the good guys dead in Iraq. Thats enough. Bring them home. We’re bankrupting this country in to sub super power status and the Republican leadership wants to dump billions of dollars more that we don’t have into that quagmire. The surest way to get domestic Iraqi forces ready to handle that mes is to throw em in the fire.

Right to bear arms in Washington DC is threatened. Gosh, if theres ever a place where the citizens should have guns it’s DC. You just can’t say the hell with the constitution. As it’s presently worded we are allowed to have guns. However, it is my guess that the intent was to have a well armed militia (like the ones who fought the British in the American Revolution) made up of farmers, business men, private citizens who were ready to fight in a minute. Since that’s no longer how we assemble an armed force, the 2nd Amendment needs a little re-working or, leave as is and we all keep our guns. I’ve said it before, the US Constitution is the best in the world but it was written for its time (1700’s).

It’s funny the things I focus on when news of a politician who spent a career fighting prostitution gets caught paying for a whore. It wasn’t the fact that he did it in the first place, violated the trust of his constitutients or abused his position. No, the thing that got me was the price of getting laid in New York. And this girl was from New Jersey. Jeeezzz, a $4,300 fuck paid for by a man chosen by all those really smart New York voters who were looking for a little fiscal responsibility in their government. $4,300 to get laid? Not once nor twice but enough times to shell out about the same amount I make in a year. I’m sure Mr. Clean could have gotten laid for a lot less and I would have had more respect for him if he used his (or the taxpayers) money a little more wisely.

It is beyond me how anyone these days can say anything remotely related to race and politics and think no one will notice or care.  Geraldine Ferraro said: “If you point to something that deals with race, you are immediately a racist?” I say she’s absolutely right so why say anything about race at all especially when it’s only her opinion and not what the majority of the voters think.  Obama is not winning because he is black.  I care nothing at all about his race, what he is is that he’s not Hillary Clinton and not an established Washington DC crony.  He is a refreshing breath of fresh air in a long line of blow hards like Clinton and Geraldine.  She had no business popping off this bit of historical commentary.  I think she’s indicative of the typical Democrat, love the black vote, a little unnerved by a black man making history by way of their party.  If Obama were a Republican, they’d be unleashing this garbage every day with the blessings of the Party and the black voters.

Of course Geraldine took a move from Hillarys play book by blaming everyone but herself for the corner she painted herself into.  Once she said it and Hillary immediately but not very firmly distanced herself from the remark, she quit.  My question then is if she was so right, why did she resign?  Because she knows she’s wrong 

BTW:  Ass hole left winger Keith Olberman refuse to put her on his list of nasty people even with the shit she said.   God forbid he put a liberal on that list.  Chances are Mr Clean Spitzer won’t make it either.

If you don’t have a DVR then quit reading. Don’t watch the show live, record the show or wait about 45 minutes after it starts then begin watching it from the beginning. If you want to watch something more interesting, turn over to public television and watch one of those boring British Comedies chock full of dry humor we Americans don’t understand or think funny. I’ve found the best way to watch American Idol is to fast forward through the little film clips about each contestant, eg: “most embarrassing moment”, “my dad died”, “I’m a gay stripper”. Then listen to the first 20 seconds of each song. If it sounds like a train-wreck is a comin’, listen to the whole song, otherwise, fast forward to the judges comments. Listen to Randy Jackson say Dude and Yo Dawg and Paula say “Gribblesish shazashish ghurruhumpaish ghjyyurish…” and Simon do his usual I hate it or love it depending on which one he wants to win. You can usually learn all you need to know in about 32 seconds on each constant. On Voting, check out www.votefortheworst.com then get on board the night the show airs and dial away during the correct time for voting. Here it’s Monday and Tuesday night from 8pm till a little later.

The other benefit to recording is that as each contestant comes to the mike, you can read the already posted comments on VFTW and pick up good insight on the performance as it’s played out. For example, I wouldn’t have noticed that the wheezy kid licked his lips a hundred times during his performance without the benefit of VFTW.

In theory, you can get all the useful Idol information in about 15 minutes for a 1 hour show after sorting through the shit and commercials.

Now for Danny Noriega. I hated this pussy from the get-go but keeping in line with the VFTW folks, was compelled to keep him on because he was entertaining in an annoying flamboyantly gay way and probably pissed off a lot of Idoltards the longer he stayed. Due to a snowstorm and an accumulation of snow on the dish I forgot to knock off, I didn’t get to see his crying fit and Swan Song which I was hoping to see. Maybe I can catch it on-line. I also missed 50 minutes of LOST before I realized I got distracted with a snowball fight with my kids when I went to clear the snow. The VFTW pick is currently Amanda Overmyer. This woman sounds like Janis Joplin who herself could have made it as a musician only when all the hippies of the 60’s were fucked up on psychedelic drugs (also Bob Dylan). Her hair looks like bride of frankenstein and she comes across as a little bull-dykeish. Her range is limited and she has no moves. Vote for Amanda! The only problem is that Simon likes her which conflicts with VTFW.

Anyway, I hope this makes your American Idol viewing more pleasurable.
